The truth is, only a select few online instructors are truly qualified to be doling out advice. Trust me when I tell you the wrong “free” help can end up causing more problems than solutions!
Today, I'm sharing the best free blogging courses I've taken. The courses I've listed below are courses I vouch for 100% when I tell you the instructors know what they're talking about, and they won't steer you wrong.

Before you even write your first blog post, you'll need to get your blog set up properly on WordPress. This is the free course I recommend to help you set your site up properly.
Understanding WordPress – How to Navigate Self-Hosted WordPress
Course Dates: Year-Round
This is a video course run by Grayson Bell of iMark Interactive. Grayson is really passionate about teaching new bloggers how to get their sites up and running! He also has nearly 15 years of experience working with WordPress.
He created this handy course to help you learn the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and then he guides you through every single detail you need to know to maneuver the WordPress dashboard.

How to Start Blogging
Once you have your blog set up properly in WordPress, you'll probably start wondering what to do next. It's totally normal to have lots of questions. For example…

This course is by Suzi from Start a Mom Blog. I love Suzi's courses, because she has such a knack for breaking things down very simply and making it seem like everything you want to accomplish is doable.
This pdf is laid out in a very simple format, with daily tasks that will help you get those first posts written and published on your blog. You'll get your About and Disclosures pages set up, and then she'll teach you how to secure social media accounts and set them up so you can begin marketing to your ideal audience.

If there's one thing I've noticed in my time spent helping out new bloggers, it's that they're easily overwhelmed. (Am I right?) So with that in mind, I'm going to keep this list short and sweet.
