Daisy and I were once again thrilled to dig into our POPSUGAR Must Have package this month. The company gifted the POPSUGAR Must Have July 2016 box to us for review, and we're ready to share our experience for those of you who are considering a subscription.

If you’re unfamiliar with POPSUGAR Must Have, it’s a monthly lifestyle subscription service for women. Each month the Must Have box arrives at your doorstep filled with products ranging in theme from beauty, home, fashion, food, and more! The total of the items included is valued at $100 or more, but the box is only $39.95 — which includes free shipping.
It’s a really great value if the items are ones you’ll use and enjoy. For more details or to subscribe, head to this link. Use the coupon code MUSTHAVE5 at checkout if you’re a new subscriber and you'll receive $5 off your order.
The products included are all “Must Have” items for women curated by POPSUGAR Fitness, Home, Beauty, and Food editors. The items are typically very on-trend and revolve around a specific theme.
The box is a cheery pink color, and everything arrives wrapped in tissue and taped with a hot pink + white “PS.” logo sticker. We unwrapped ours to discover the following goodies:
SACHAJUAN is a product that was new to me, so I was happy for the opportunity to test it out! It protects hair from UV rays and won’t wash out in the pool or ocean (you need shampoo to remove it). It also doubles as a styling cream and works really well in that aspect since the formula is very light.
My hair didn't feel greasy at all with it in, and the scent is perfection. (Yes, that's a line stolen from Chandler in Friends! Remember when he was stuck in the ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacre?) I recommend this product for anyone with color treated hair who spends a lot of time in the water.
These 100% cotton cocktail napkins are made exclusively for POPSUGAR and they're so cute! They're such a fun way to dress up a cocktail party. Who knew emoji cocktail napkins were even a thing?! They'll add a little lighthearted fun to my next get-together. I've included a close-up of the cocktail drink one so you can see the detail in it.
You've probably noticed Sunnylife's giant inflatable swan floats everywhere this summer — all the celebs are in on the action. I'm a fan of the brand and was thrilled when I spotted the swan drink holder in my Must Have box! It's my favorite item this month. Between Daisy and me, it's going to get a LOT of use.
If you aren't familiar with their products, check out their pineapple float, Lennox Lux towel and beach blanket, this adorable Beach Sounds Portable Radio, and their colorful beach umbrella. Sunnylife just makes me happy. 🙂
If you've set foot in an Urban Outfitters or Pacsun store recently, you've probably noticed enamel pins are all the rage. I personally like mine on my hat or pinned onto a mini backpack. If you have a corkboard that you pin notes to at home, they're really cute as a replacement for boring old thumbtacks!
You can also use them to hold a scarf (like the Michael Stars scarf included in this box) or sarong in place on a windy day . They look adorable pinned onto jean jackets (I adore this look) or lapels. This alien pin is one of my favorites that they make, and you can't go wrong with any of the emoji ones.
I appreciate that this highlighter has a built-in smudger on one side for ease of blending. The color is subtle with a very light shimmer, which makes it very wearable — particularly on paler skin tones. Daisy suggests using highlighter above your cupid’s bow and on the inner corners of eyes, in addition to the brow area. There's a coupon included for a free brow wax that's good for new AND existing customers.
I discovered Michael Stars years ago and have been a long-time fan. The scarf is really skinny (it measures 6 just inches across), and the B&W color scheme is very versatile. It's so thin it could also be worn as a headband or used to tie up a ponytail!
What can I say about these chips? They're crunchy and salty, and that's basically all I ask for in a chip. (I'm pretty easy going when it comes to food.) The packaging is cute, too.
Lastly, this box included a “Special Extra” $20 gift card to Trove in case you want to treat yourself to some customizable jewelry.
That's it for my POPSUGAR Must Have July 2016 review. One of my favorite things about the Must Have box is that it allows me try things I might not otherwise purchase, such as trendy jewelry or home decor items. It's also a great way to test makeup and beauty products that I might hesitate to buy at full price. You can see last month's review here if you'd like an additional peek at what comes in the monthly deliveries. Let me know if you have any questions, and have an awesome week!
