I was recently surfing Pinterest and got on a spree where I was looking up all of Sophia Loren's old photos. She had some really interesting looks, so I decided to shoot a Sophia Loren inspired makeup tutorial for you guys! Sophia was the original queen of the cat eye. She definitely had a unique makeup style that was like no other.
DID YOU KNOW? Sophia Loren often did really dramatic lined eyes and used a bright white liner on her waterline. That's because many of her movies and photos were in B&W and the white liner made her eyes pop!
My recreation of her look is very dramatic, but I had so much fun doing it! I always love trying something new.

TIP: When creating a smokey eye, it's often easiest to do your eyes first and foundation last. That way you can use a makeup wipe to easily wipe away the dark fallout from your eyeshadow application.

I've added some close up shots of the eye makeup below. I really loved using The Smokey Eyeshadow Palette from NYX! It's such a pretty look for a great low price, and NYX is easily one of my favorite drugstore makeup brands.
It’s a mistake to think that once you’re done with school you need never learn anything new. #sophialoren Share on X
