Hi there! We're Erin and Daisy, and we're a mother/daughter duo who love to dish about all things travel and makeup related. We started Sand Sun & Messy Buns as a place to showcase the hairstyles Daisy created for prom and homecoming, but it's evolved into so much more! We enjoy motivating others, sharing our travel adventures, and providing tips to help girls develop more confidence.

A Little About Us:
We both love the laid-back vibe of summertime and live for the days when we're sitting on a beach with our toes in the sand and hair up in messy buns. [That's how our site's name came about!] We're obsessed with Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Friends, Gilmore Girls, freckles, being positive, and spending time with friends and family.
About Daisy:
♡ I'm currently in my sophomore year of college, and I'm passionate about makeup, hair, and designing my own clothes!
♡ I love thrifting and I usually alter items I find so they reflect my personality. My favorite class in high school was AP Fashion Design, and I even made my own prom dress.
♡ I'm also the proud owner of a 4-year-old female veiled chameleon, so you may see her pop up in a post or two.
